Terms of use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Global Flight website and related enquiry services. By using this site, you agree to the terms set out below, including how enquiries, travel information and support requests are handled.

1. Acceptance of these website terms

Global Flight is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd for the purpose of presenting business travel information and receiving booking enquiries. By visiting the site, submitting an enquiry, or using any linked forms or support channels, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms of Use and agree to comply with them.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must stop using the website. These terms apply to business travellers, company representatives and any other person who accesses the site from anywhere in South Africa or outside the country.

2. Enquiries, quotations and booking requests

Information on this website is provided to help clients request flight, accommodation and event travel support. Any quotation, itinerary summary or booking detail shared after an enquiry is subject to availability, supplier rules, fare conditions and the timing of your request. Nothing on the site creates a binding booking until it is confirmed in writing and the required payment or authorisation has been received.

We may decline or withdraw a request where there are incomplete traveller details, conflicting instructions, late approval, or where the requested travel cannot be secured within the required schedule.

  • All traveller details must be accurate and complete.
  • Approval from the relevant company contact may be required before issuing tickets.
  • Flight times, hotel availability and event arrangements can change without notice.
  • Urgent requests made after hours may attract separate service conditions.

3. Business travel support and service limits

Global Flight provides itinerary management, amendment handling, cancellation support, traveller profile management, reporting, invoice reconciliation, rooming list management, delegate arrival tracking, travel document checks and duty of care support. These services are designed to assist corporate travel planning and coordination for teams based in Sandton, Johannesburg and across South Africa.

We do not guarantee that every itinerary will remain unchanged. Airlines, accommodation providers, event organisers and related suppliers may alter schedules, rates, room types, baggage rules or entry requirements at short notice. We are not responsible for losses caused by supplier decisions, weather delays, load-shedding related disruptions, road congestion, municipal restrictions, strikes or any force majeure event beyond our control.

4. Your responsibilities when using the site

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you submit is lawful, truthful and not misleading. This includes names as they appear on travel documents, ID or passport details where required, and any special service requests. You must not use the site to send false enquiries, interfere with operations, or attempt to access information that is not intended for you.

  • Use the site only for lawful business travel purposes.
  • Do not submit content that is defamatory, abusive or fraudulent.
  • Do not copy or reuse content from the site without permission.
  • Do not introduce malware, bots or other harmful code.

5. Pricing, payments and account handling

Where prices are displayed or quoted, they may be revised if taxes, supplier charges, exchange rates, availability or service conditions change. Payment terms, deposit requirements and cancellation fees may vary by booking type. Any invoice issued must be paid by the due date stated on that invoice unless a written arrangement has been approved in advance.

If your company uses approval workflows or cost centre references, you remain responsible for ensuring the correct internal instructions are provided. Delays caused by incomplete payment details, late approvals or incorrect billing information may affect ticket issue dates and booking availability.

6. Intellectual property, privacy and legal updates

All text, layouts, images, service descriptions and other content on this website are owned by or licensed to Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd and Global Flight, unless stated otherwise. You may view the site for your own business use, but you may not copy, reproduce, distribute or modify any content without prior written permission.

Any personal information submitted through the enquiry form will be handled in line with applicable South African privacy and data protection requirements. We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in services, law or operational needs. The latest version published on the website will apply from the date of publication.

  • Use of the website does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
  • Questions about these terms may be directed through the contact page enquiry form.
  • Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
